Public testimony will be taken and if you have opinions it is important you attend and make a comment.

Burgess's proposed plan calls for:
  • Hiring new police officers
  • A return to foot patrols in Downtown (Belltown)
  • New restrictions on aggressive solicitation
  • Improved outreach to those in need
  • More housing with on-site supportive services
Burgess' proposal is critical to the safety issues experienced Downtown (Belltown too) and in neighborhoods throughout the city.

Here is how you can make Downtown a safer place to live, work, shop and play.

All of us should turn out to support this important new and balanced initiative for safety in Belltown.
